Lučice
The underwater cave in the cove Lučice on the southern side of the island of Brač is considered to be one of the most beautiful diving locations not only in Dalmatia and surroundings of Split, but the whole of Adriatic. It has been enlisted as one of the top 5 destination in Croatia on most foreign web portals, diving and tourist magazines.
The entrance to the cave is very safe and easy because it is located on 4m depth. There are two entrances. The cave is a big hole that branches into two rooms on the left and right, with the depts of 30 and 40 meters. The cave is very big and even the unexperienced divers feel safe. There is a hidden air pocket big enough for one person, as well as stalagmites.
The sealife is very rich and, except for the usual underwater inhabitants for this part of the Adriatic, the cave is a shelter for amberjacks. The cave has been given the name "Amberjack's cave" but is also well know as "Dragon's eyes" because of its entrances which, while looked from within the cave, resemble dragons eyes.
